Engine Exhaust Valve – Reliable Combustion Sealing ?

This exhaust-side engine valve is a critical part of the cylinder head that lets burned gases leave the combustion chamber at the right moment. It is needed to keep power, fuel economy, and engine temperature under control. When the camshaft opens the valve, hot exhaust flows out; when it closes, the valve face seals tightly against the seat to hold compression and protect the chamber.

How It Works ⚙️

The valve moves up and down through the guide, controlled by the cam and valve spring. Correct sealing and heat transfer through the valve seat help prevent overheating, misfire, and loss of torque.
