Clutch Master Hydraulic Cylinder (OEM-Grade) ?

This hydraulic cylinder is a key part of a manual transmission clutch system. It is needed to turn your clutch pedal force into smooth hydraulic pressure, so the clutch can disengage and you can shift gears cleanly. Without a healthy unit, the clutch won’t release fully, and driving becomes hard and unsafe.

How It Works βš™οΈ

When you press the clutch pedal, an internal piston moves inside the cylinder and pushes brake-style hydraulic fluid through the line to the slave cylinder. That pressure moves the clutch fork and separates the clutch disc from the flywheel. Good seals and a clean bore keep pressure stable and pedal feel consistent.

Signs of Failure & What Happens If It Breaks ❗

  • Soft or sinking clutch pedal, delayed engagement
  • Hard shifting, gear grinding, or cannot select gears
  • Fluid leaks near the firewall or low reservoir level
  • Air entering the system, clutch slips or drags

If it fails completely, you may lose hydraulic pressure and be unable to disengage the clutch, leaving the vehicle stuck in gear or unable to move. Replace early to protect the clutch, synchros, and transmission.
