Idle Air Control Valve for Smooth, Stable Idle ✅
This idle air control valve is a key helper for keeping your engine idling cleanly when your foot is off the pedal. It is needed because the throttle plate closes at idle, so the engine still requires a measured amount of air to stay running without shaking or stalling.
How It Works ⚙️
The valve is commanded by the ECU and opens or closes an internal air passage to fine-tune airflow around the throttle. By adjusting this bypass air, it helps maintain target RPM during cold starts, AC load, steering load, and stop-and-go driving.
