Why you need it
This oil seal keeps gearbox or differential oil inside and road dirt outside. It protects side bearings, gears, and the CV joint by holding the correct fluid level and pressure. A fresh, tight seal stops messy leaks and keeps shift quality and AWD performance consistent.
How it works ⚙️
A precision rubber lip hugs the rotating shaft while a garter spring keeps even pressure. The sealing edge rides on the shaft’s smooth surface, creating a thin oil film that blocks fluid from escaping. The outer shell locks in the housing, resisting heat, vibration, and splash.
What if it fails ❗
