Rear Trunk Lid Gas Strut (Stay Damper) ?
This OE‑grade lift support holds the boot lid safely open and lets it rise smoothly. It replaces a weak gas spring so the lid stays up in wind and closes with controlled force, protecting hinges, paint, and fingers.
Why this part is needed
The trunk lid is heavy. A charged cylinder balances its weight, making loading easy with one hand and preventing slam shocks that stress the latch and weatherstrip.
How it works
