Front Stabilizer Bar Bushing for Mazda

This small rubber mounting piece is a big part of your suspension comfort and safety . It is needed to hold the front stabilizer (anti-roll) bar firmly to the chassis while still allowing smooth movement. By isolating vibration and controlling bar position, it helps keep the car flat in corners and steady during lane changes.

How It Works

The bushing sits around the stabilizer bar and is clamped to the subframe. As the left and right wheels move differently, the bar twists. The bushing lets this twist happen without metal-to-metal contact, reducing noise and keeping steering response consistent.

What Happens When It’s Worn or Broken

A damaged bushing can cause clunking over bumps, extra body roll, vague handling, and uneven tire wear. If ignored, the stabilizer bar may shift, stressing links and brackets and making the front end feel loose ⚠️.

Common Signs

  • Knock or rattle from the front suspension
  • More sway when cornering
  • Steering feels less sharp
