Why this part is needed ?
Rings close the gap between piston and cylinder, transfer heat to the liner, and scrape surplus oil from the wall. Healthy rings give easy starts, strong torque, cleaner exhaust, and longer engine life under heavy loads.
How it works ?️
A two-compression plus oil-control layout uses spring tension and combustion gas pressure to press against the bore. A moly-faced top ring resists wear and seals fire, the second ring manages blow-by, and a three-piece oil ring with expander meters the oil film for proper lubrication.
