Engine Cooling Drive Belt for Isuzu SUVs
This belt powers key front-end accessories so your engine stays cool and charged. It transfers crankshaft rotation to the water pump and, on many setups, the fan and alternator. Without a healthy belt, coolant won’t circulate and the battery won’t recharge.
Why this part is needed
It keeps the water pump spinning to move coolant through the block and radiator, preventing hot spots and overheating. It also helps maintain stable electrical power while you drive.
How it works
The crank pulley drives the belt, which wraps around accessory pulleys. Proper rib profile and high-grip EPDM rubber reduce slip and noise. Correct tension lets it transmit power efficiently at idle and high RPM.
What happens if it fails
If the belt snaps or slips, coolant stops flowing and the temperature climbs within minutes. You may see the battery light, hear squealing, smell burnt rubber, or notice dim lights. Continuing to drive can warp the head or blow the gasket—stop the engine immediately.

- Inspect for cracks, glazing, and frayed edges.
