    Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Switch for Toyota

    This precision thermal switch is essential for accurate engine temperature reading. It sends real-time coolant data to the ECU, so the engine can adjust fuel mix, ignition timing, idle speed, and activate the radiator fans.     How it works

    Why you need it

    Correct temperature input keeps power and economy balanced, prevents overheating, and avoids rich running that can foul plugs and clog the catalytic converter.

    If it fails ⚠️

    Expect hard cold starts, rough idle, poor mileage, fan stuck on/off, overheating, or a Check Engine Light (often P0115–P0119). Prolonged driving may warp the head or damage the cat. Replace promptly, use a new seal, torque correctly, top up coolant, and bleed air. Clear codes after installation.
