This left-side adjuster keeps your rear parking brake shoes correctly spaced inside the drum-in-hat rotor. The unit uses a threaded star wheel and barrel. When you pull the handbrake, a lever and pawl index the star wheel, extending the adjuster to maintain the set clearance.
