Genuine Radiator Pressure Cap for Hyundai & Kia ?

This cooling system cap keeps your engine safe by sealing the radiator and holding the correct pressure. With the right pressure, coolant’s boiling point rises, heat is carried away efficiently, and the engine stays in the sweet spot. It’s a small part with a big job: stable temperature, no air intrusion, and smooth circulation. Perfect fit for select Hyundai/Kia models for OEM reliability.

Why you need it ❄️?

A healthy radiator cap prevents early boiling, limits evaporation, and controls flow to the reservoir. It keeps hoses firm, the heater strong, and the engine protected during traffic, hills, and hot weather.

How it works ?️

Inside is a spring‑loaded pressure valve. When system pressure exceeds the rating, it opens to the overflow bottle. As the engine cools, a vacuum valve pulls coolant back, preventing hose collapse and air pockets. The rubber seal locks in pressure and stops leaks.

If the cap fails ⚠️

Expect overheating, coolant loss, weak cabin heat, gurgling, stained necks, and sometimes collapsed upper hoses. Long term, it can warp the head gasket or radiator tanksβ€”costly repairs.

Tech tips βœ…

  • Only open when cold.
  • Replace if seal is cracked, spring weak, or cap fails a pressure test.
  • Keep neck clean; tighten until it fully seats.
