In‑Tank Fuel Pump Strainer (Filter Sock) for Toyota SUVs β›½πŸ›‘οΈ

Keep your fuel system clean and your engine strong with this OE‑grade in‑tank fuel pump strainer. It’s built to match original flow and micron rating, giving reliable filtration for demanding driving, city or off‑road. Perfect form and seal ensure quiet pump operation and steady fuel delivery. πŸš—

Why you need it

Fuel can carry rust, dust, and tank sediment. This pre‑filter protects the high‑pressure pump and injectors from abrasive particles, stabilizes pickup during cornering and steep angles, and helps prevent fuel starvation on low tank levels.

How it works

A fine nylon mesh sock slides onto the pump inlet. It spreads suction over a wide area, traps particles around tens of microns before they reach the pump, and reduces cavitation and aeration. The molded neck and locking clip seal tight so only filtered fuel enters.

What happens if it fails

Clogged: hard starts, hesitation, loss of power on hills, loud pump whine, lean codes, and premature pump wear. Torn: debris reaches injectors, rough idle, poor spray pattern, and possible stalling. In severe cases, the pump overheats and fails early. ⚠️

Service tips πŸ”§

  • Replace with any pump service or after bad fuel.
  • Inspect/clean tank; install new tank seal and O‑ring.
  • Align the sock toward the sump; lock the clip until it clicks.
  • Avoid running near empty to extend pump life.
