PCV Valve for Suzuki Engines

This small valve keeps your engine breathing right. It routes blow‑by gases from the crankcase back to the intake, lowering emissions, keeping oil cleaner, and protecting seals. A fresh unit restores stable idle, better fuel trims, and longer oil life.

How it works βš™οΈ

Inside is a spring-loaded poppet. Intake vacuum meters the flow: at idle/high vacuum it mostly closes to prevent a lean mix; under load/lower vacuum it opens to vent more vapors. During a backfire it snaps shut, stopping flame from reaching the crankcase.

Why you need it βœ…

Correct crankcase ventilation controls pressure, reduces sludge, and limits oil consumption. It also helps catalytic converter health and smooth throttle response.

When it’s bad ❗

Stuck open: rough idle, hissing, high fuel trims (lean), oil in intake, smoke. Stuck closed: dipstick push-out, oil leaks, sludge, gasket failures. Either way you may see poor economy, fuel smell, and emissions test failure.

Tech tips

Replace with OEM-quality only. Check hoses and grommet, clear any mayo/sludge, verify vacuum at idle, and confirm rattle when shaken. Typical service interval: 60–100k km.
