Why this part is needed
Reliable cooling keeps your engine healthy. This radiator fan motor pulls air through the radiator (and A/C condenser) to control coolant temperature in traffic, on steep climbs, and during hot weather. It prevents overheating, protects the head gasket, and supports stable A/C performance.
How it works
An electric motor inside a sealed housing spins the fan blade. The ECU or thermo-switch commands it based on coolant temperature and A/C pressure. At idle or low speed, it forces airflow across the radiator; at higher speeds it supplements natural ram air. Precision-balanced rotor, low-friction bearings, and weather-sealed connectors ensure quiet, efficient cooling.
What happens if itβs broken
Warning signs: temp gauge creeping up, weak A/C at idle βοΈ, fan not spinning, burning smell, or blown fuse/relay. Driving on can cause boil-over, warped head, and costly engine damage. Replace promptly and check fuses, relays, wiring, and the fan shroud for proper sealing.
Install notes
Direct-fit mounts, plug-and-play connector, corrosion-resistant finish. Use new clips, torque fasteners evenly, clear debris from the shroud, and bleed the cooling system after service .
