Throttle Position Sensor for Suzuki – crisp response and stable idle ⚙️
Keep your engine smart and efficient with a fresh TPS. This direct-fit unit restores precise throttle feedback so the ECU can deliver smooth acceleration, clean gear changes, and better fuel economy. Built for accurate voltage output and long life, it resists heat, oil vapor, and vibration.
Why this part is needed
The ECU uses throttle angle to set fuel, ignition timing, and idle control. A healthy sensor means quick throttle response, reliable cold starts, and steady idle—especially important for city driving and towing.
How it works
Mounted on the throttle body, the sensor tracks the butterfly valve via a keyed shaft. Inside is a precision potentiometer that sends a 0.5–4.5 V signal to the ECU. Correct calibration ensures the right voltage at closed and wide-open throttle. A snug 3‑pin connector and OEM bolt pattern make installation simple.
What happens when it fails ⚠️
Rough idle, hesitation, flat spots, stalling, high idle, poor fuel economy, and sluggish shifts. Often triggers a check engine light (e.g., P0120–P0123) or limp mode. Replace the sensor, clean the throttle body, inspect the harness, and perform idle learn/reset.
