High-Precision Engine Piston Rings

Restore factory compression and stop oil burn with this OEM-grade piston rings kit for popular Toyota platforms. Precision-ground and heat-treated, it seals the combustion chamber, reduces blow-by, and keeps oil control stable under heavy load. Ideal for rebuilds, smoke complaints, or power loss on petrol and diesel engines.

Why you need it

Rings are the moving seal between piston and cylinder. Fresh parts bring back easy starts, strong torque, cleaner emissions, and better fuel economy. They also protect bores from scuffing and keep crankcase pressure in check.

How it works ️

Two upper compression rings lock in combustion pressure, transferring heat to the cylinder wall. The lower oil control assembly scrapes excess oil and returns it through drain ports, leaving a thin film for lubrication. Correct tension and moly faces ensure quick bed-in and low friction.

When worn or broken ❗

Expect blue smoke, rising oil use, low compression, hard starting, rough idle, crankcase fumes, and loss of power. Long term, glazing, fouled plugs/injectors, DPF/turbo coking, and higher fuel use can follow.

Tech tips βœ…

Measure end gap in the bore, orient β€œTOP” marks upward, stagger ring gaps ~120Β°, lightly hone, clean grooves, and oil everything before first fire.
