Restore tight compression and clean exhaust with this high-precision piston ring kit. Itβs essential during an engine rebuild or when you notice rising oil use, weak acceleration, or blue smoke. Fresh rings seal the combustion chamber, control oil on the cylinder walls, and transfer heat from the piston crown to the liner for long engine life.
Why this part is needed ?
Over time, rings wear, lose tension, and the end-gaps grow. That means blowβby, oil burning, carbon buildup, and higher fuel consumption. Replacing them brings back factory compression and power.
How it works ?
Typically three rings per piston: the top compression ring seals combustion pressure, the second ring assists sealing and scrapes gases, and the multi-piece oil control ring meters the oil film and returns excess to the sump.

Expect hard starts, misfire under load, blue smoke, oily plugs, high crankcase pressure, catalytic converter stress, and scored cylinders if ignored.

Measure bore taper/out-of-round, hone to proper finish, set correct end-gap, face the marks βTOPβ, stagger gaps ~120Β°, lube lightly, and follow a careful breakβin.
