Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (Thermistor) for Suzuki

This small sensor is a big deal for daily driving. It measures coolant temperature and sends the signal to the ECU so the engine can fuel correctly, idle smoothly, and control the radiator fan. When temperature data is accurate, the engine warms up fast, runs clean, and protects itself from overheating

Why this part is needed

Modern Suzuki engines rely on temperature input to choose the right air-fuel mix and ignition timing. It also helps activate fan operation and can influence A/C and cold-start strategy.

How it works

Inside is an NTC element: as coolant gets hotter, resistance drops. The ECU reads this change as a temperature value and adjusts engine control in real time ⚙️

What happens if it’s broken

A faulty sensor can cause hard starting, rough idle, high fuel consumption, black smoke, weak power, cooling fan running nonstop (or not at all),and warning lights. Left unchecked, wrong readings may contribute to overheating risk and catalytic converter stress
