Engine Drive Belt (1050mm)

This engine drive belt is a key link between the crankshaft pulley and your accessory units. It transfers rotation to systems like the alternator and, depending on setup, other driven accessories. When the belt grips the pulleys correctly, it keeps charging stable and helps the engine run smooth day after day

Why This Belt Is Needed

Without a healthy belt, the accessory drive cannot keep up with engine speed changes. A correct-length belt maintains proper tension, reduces slip, and protects bearings in the alternator and idlers.

How It Works

The belt’s V-profile wedges into pulley grooves. That wedge action increases friction so power can be carried without slipping, even under load. Good rubber compound and cord strength help it resist heat, oil mist, and repeated flexing.

If the Belt Is Worn or Broken

Common signs include squeal on start-up, charging warning light, dim lights, and overheating on configurations where a belt drives cooling components. If it snaps, the alternator stops charging and the vehicle may stall after the battery drains ⚠️
