Why this part is needed ️

Your front rotor converts speed into heat through friction. Over time, surfaces glaze, grooves form, and thickness falls below spec. Replacing the disc restores straight, predictable stops, reduces pedal travel, and protects new brake pads from premature wear.

How it works

When you brake, pads clamp the disc, creating friction that slows the wheel. Venting and mass of the rotor spread and dissipate heat, guarding against fade. Correct runout and balanced casting keep the steering wheel steady under hard stops.

If the disc is worn or damaged ⚠️

Expect longer stopping distance, steering shake, squeal, hot spots, and uneven pad wear. Severe warping or cracks can lead to pulsation, pulling, and, in extreme cases, loss of braking efficiency. Replace at or before minimum thickness.
