Why you need it

A healthy tie rod locks toe angle, prevents wandering, and protects tires. Replace at the first signs of play, torn boot, or corrosion to restore safety and ride comfort.

How it works

It connects the rack‑and‑pinion to the steering knuckle. A ball‑and‑socket joint lets the hub move up and down while steering left/right. The threaded section is used for toe adjustment. What happens if it fails
