This rear suspension bushing sits in the lateral link and keeps the wheel steady under load. It isolates vibration, holds toe and camber within spec, and prevents rear-end wander. A healthy bushing means quiet rides, precise handling, and even tire wear.

How it works ⚙️

The unit is a steel outer shell with a vulcanized elastomer core and an inner sleeve. The bolt clamps the inner sleeve to the subframe; the link rotates slightly as the rubber twists in shear. This controlled flex absorbs bumps and side loads while keeping geometry stable during cornering and braking.

What happens if it’s worn or broken ⚠️

Expect clunks over small bumps, rear steering feel on highways, shimmy on braking, and faster tire wear on the inner or outer edge. Alignment won’t hold, ABS/ESP may intervene early, and ride comfort drops. Prolonged use can stress the link and wheel bearing.

Tech notes

Press in/out with proper support. Align any index marks. Final-torque at ride height to avoid pre-load. Pair replacement left/right for best results. Wheel alignment recommended after install.
