How it works ⚙️

The arm pivots on two chassis bushings while a sealed ball joint links to the steering knuckle. As the wheel moves up and down, the arm controls the wheel path, resists side loads, and maintains alignment so the tire stays flat on the road.

What happens if it’s worn or broken ❗

Expect clunks over bumps, wandering steering, shimmy under braking, and uneven tire wear. Severe wear can let the wheel shift, harming struts and tie rods; a complete failure risks loss of control. Always torque bushings at ride height and do an alignment after install.
