Multifunction Wiper and Washer Steering Column Switch for Suzuki

How it works ⚙️

The stalk uses internal copper contacts, springs, and detent cams. Moving the lever routes 12V signals through the harness to the relay/BCM, commanding the wiper motor speeds and activating the washer pump when you pull the lever. Some versions also toggle rear wipe/wash.

What happens if it’s broken ❗

Symptoms include no wipe, stuck speeds, random intermittent, no spray, or wipers that won’t park. This can strain the motor, blow fuses, and severely cut visibility—dangerous in bad weather.

Install notes

Disconnect battery, remove column shrouds, undo retaining screws, slide the old unit off, plug in the new connector, and reassemble. Do not force the cancel tab. Test all speeds and washer. 10–30 minutes for a careful DIY.
