When switched on from the cabin control, power flows to the lamp assembly and the lens focuses a strong red beam outward. The housing seals the bulb/LED area from moisture and road grime, while the connector ensures stable current with minimal voltage drop.

What Happens If It’s Broken

A cracked lens, water inside, burnt socket, or loose connector can cause dim light, flickering, or total failure. That means poor visibility in bad weather, higher chance of being hit from behind, and possible inspection/roadworthiness issues.
