Transfer Case Extension Housing for Suzuki 4x4 ️

This rear housing closes the back of the transfer case, supports the output shaft, and keeps gear oil inside. Why you need it

It centers the output shaft, holds the rear bearing/bush, and carries the oil seal. Without a straight, tight housing, the driveshaft yoke runs off-center, causing vibration, seal failure, and rapid wear of internal gears and bearings.

How it works ⚙️

The housing bolts to the transfer unit, forming the rear cavity for the output shaft. It locates the bearing, guides the yoke, and seats the seal to maintain oil control. On some setups it also provides a mount for a speed sender. Proper geometry here keeps the 4x4 drivetrain quiet and efficient.

What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

Cracks or an oval bearing bore let the shaft wobble, leading to vibrations, clunks on takeoff, leaks, overheating, and low oil. Run long enough, this can chew the output splines, damage gears, and even lose drive.
