How it works ⛽

Inside the rotary injection pump, a cam ring drives a rotor-plunger set housed in this head. As the rotor turns, it draws fuel in, compresses it, then sends it to each outlet port in sequence for precise cylinder feed. Tight clearances and polished passages maintain pressure, while timing advance matches load and rpm for efficient burn.

If the part is damaged ⚠️

Expect long cranking, stall at idle, diesel knock, misfire under load, black/white smoke, and poor fuel economy. Metal wear can contaminate injectors and score the pump body, leading to costly repairs. Fix early to protect the entire fuel system.
