How it works

When the thermostat opens, the water pump pushes hot coolant through this shaped hose into the radiator. The radiator removes heat; then coolant returns via the lower line. Quality clamps seal the joints and prevent micro-leaks.

If the hose fails ⚠️

Look for cracks, swelling, soft spots, coolant smell, or steam. A split hose causes sudden coolant loss, temp spikes, limp mode, and can warp the head or blow the gasket. Stop the engine if overheating starts.
