OEM Radiator Pressure Cap for Suzuki Cooling System

This precision sealing cap keeps the engine cooling system closed, pressurized, and safe. It maintains the correct pressure so coolant boils at a higher temperature, protects hoses and gaskets, and routes excess fluid to the overflow tank. A healthy cap is small but critical for stable engine temperature and long water pump, radiator, and heater core life.

Why you need it ❄️

Without the right pressure, coolant can boil early, form vapor pockets, and lose heat transfer. This cap restores factory spec pressure and sealing, preventing hot spots and overheating in traffic, towing, or summer heat.

How it works ⚙️

Inside is a calibrated spring and dual valve set. The pressure valve opens near the rated PSI to send excess coolant to the reservoir. On cooldown, the vacuum valve opens to draw fluid back, preventing hose collapse and air entry.

If the cap is bad

Common signs: overheating, coolant smell, wet neck on the radiator, collapsed upper hose after shutdown, rising temperature on climbs, or frequent top-ups. Continued use can warp the head, damage the thermostat, and shorten radiator life.

Tech tip

Install on a cold engine only. Inspect filler neck and clean the sealing seat. Replace coolant per schedule for best protection.
