Exhaust Manifold Cover (Heat Shield) for Suzuki

This shield protects the exhaust manifold and nearby parts from extreme heat. It keeps engine bay temperatures under control, reduces radiant heat to the firewall and wiring, and helps prevent burns during service. A healthy cover improves cabin comfort, protects plastic clips and hoses, and supports long manifold life by stabilizing thermal cycles.

How it works

Made from stamped, coated steel, the cover sits over the manifold with air gaps and reflective surfaces. It deflects and dissipates heat away from sensors, coil packs, and brake lines, while venting hot air downward. Factory-style brackets isolate vibration, so the shield stays quiet and effective over time.

When it fails

Cracks or missing panels cause rattling at idle, a hot plastic or burning smell, heat-soaked ignition parts, faded wiring insulation, and even melted clips. Under-hood temps rise, the cabin gets warmer, and the manifold can fatigue sooner. In worst cases, nearby hoses deform, inspections flag heat shielding, and there’s increased fire risk.

Fitment and install tips ⚙️

Direct bolt-on with OEM-style mounting. Replace rusty hardware, use anti-seize on studs, and torque evenly. Check clearance around O2 sensor leads and A/C lines after installation.
