Rear Engine Mount Insulator

This rear engine mount keeps the powertrain stable, reduces shake, and protects the body and exhaust from stress. It is designed for compact Suzukis where smooth idle and clean gear shifts matter. A fresh mount restores comfort, cuts cabin noise, and extends the life of nearby parts.

Why this part is needed

The engine creates torque and vibration. Without a healthy mount to absorb it, those forces pass into the chassis. This causes rattles, harshness, and premature wear on hoses, brackets, and axles. Replacing a tired mount keeps ride quality solid and safe.

How it works

Inside the bracket sits a rubber (or hydraulic) core that cushions movement. Under load, the mount isolates the engine in all directions, holding alignment while filtering vibration. Bolts lock it to the subframe and engine bracket for precise support.

What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

Expect heavy vibration at idle, clunks on take‑off, shudder on shifts, misaligned exhaust, and faster wear of other mounts. In severe cases, it can damage driveshaft joints and cause poor traction on acceleration.
