Why this part is needed

How it works

What happens if it’s broken

A bent blade, faded marks, or cracked handle gives false readings. Running low risks oil starvation, metal contact, and knock; overfill aerates oil, raises pressure, and can push out seals ⚠️. A torn seal may let moisture and dust into the tube, speeding oil oxidation and corrosion.

Service tips
