It is essential wherever a rotating shaft exits a housing, such as crankshaft, camshaft, differential, or transmission input/output. By holding pressure and oil film, it protects bearings and gears, ensuring quiet, efficient operation and longer service life.

Why you need it

Oil leakage robs vital components of lubrication. A tight, correct-size seal prevents mess, burning smell, and costly wear. It also stabilizes oil pressure for consistent performance and clean emissions.

How it works ️

A spring-loaded elastomer lip hugs the shaft, forming a micro oil film for low-friction sealing. The outer shell press-fits the housing, while a dust lip blocks contaminants. Proper surface finish and alignment ensure long life and dry operation.
