Engine Air Cleaner Element for Mitsubishi Vehicles
This drop‑in air intake filter keeps your Mitsubishi’s engine breathing clean, cool air. It screens out dust, sand, pollen, and soot before they can enter the cylinders, protecting piston rings, valves, and turbo blades. Clean airflow means stable idle, smooth acceleration, and better fuel economy.
How it Works ️
Inside the airbox, a pleated multi‑layer media (cellulose/synthetic blend) traps particles down to fine microns. A molded perimeter seal prevents bypass, so all intake air passes through the filter. The even pleat spacing keeps resistance low while delivering the volume your MAF, turbo, and throttle body expect.
Why You Need It ️
Engines are air pumps. When the filter is fresh, the mix burns clean, keeping power and emissions in check. It also shields the MAF sensor from debris and oil mist, helping the ECU meter fuel accurately.
If It’s Worn or Damaged ⚠️
