Rear Independent Suspension Arm Pivot Bolt for Pajero/Montero

This heavy-duty fastener secures the rear suspension arm to the subframe, keeping alignment true and the ride stable. Built from hardened alloy steel with anti-corrosion protection, it holds torque under load, resists rust, and survives off-road vibration. A fresh bolt restores factory clamping force and quiets the rear end.

Why you need it

The bolt clamps the armโ€™s inner bushing sleeve, creating a precise pivot point. It locks camber/toe settings so the wheels track straight during braking, cornering, towing, and trail use. Worn or stretched hardware canโ€™t hold alignment and accelerates bushing wear.

How it works

It passes through the arm and bushing sleeve into the chassis mount. Correct torque squeezes the sleeve so the rubber bushing flexes, not the bolt. On some trims, eccentric hardware adjusts alignment; the bolt must remain clean and straight to keep settings stable.

What happens if itโ€™s damaged โš ๏ธ

Clunks over bumps, wandering rear, uneven tire wear, vibration, and poor braking stability. Severe rust or thread damage can seize the bolt, tearing bushings; a snapped bolt risks arm movement and unsafe handling. Always torque at ride height and replace the nut together with the bolt.
