    Understanding the Airflow Sensor

    The airflow sensor is a vital component for maintaining optimal engine performance and fuel efficiency. Responsible for measuring the amount of air entering the engine, it ensures that the engine control unit (ECU) can adjust the air-fuel ratio for efficient combustion. This precise measurement is crucial, as it directly impacts the vehicle's power output, emissions level, and overall drivability.

    How the Airflow Sensor Functions

    Located between the air filter and the throttle body, the airflow sensor functions by measuring the volume and density of air flowing into the engine. Utilizing a hot wire or vane meter, it sends accurate signals to the ECU, which in turn regulates the fuel injection and ignition timing.
