Engine Air Filter Cartridge – OEM Quality (Ref. MR968274)

Why you need it ️

This air cleaner element protects your engine from dust, sand, and pollen. Clean intake air means stable idle, strong acceleration, correct fuel trim, and longer life for cylinders, turbo, and MAF sensor. It keeps performance and fuel economy as the factory intended.

How it works ️

The filter uses multi‑layer, high-porosity paper media bonded to a rigid frame. A soft sealing gasket closes tight in the airbox, forcing all intake air through the media. Fine fibers trap particles while low restriction keeps airflow high. Correct pleat depth maximizes surface area to delay clogging.

What happens if it’s bad ⚠️

Clogged media causes power loss, sluggish throttle, higher fuel use, and rich codes. A torn seal lets dust bypass, scratching cylinders and compressor wheels, wearing piston rings, and contaminating the MAFβ€”leading to rough running and check engine lights.

Install & service tips

  • Drop-in fit; no tools for most airboxes.
  • Replace every 10–15k km or 12 months; sooner in dusty areas.
  • Clean the airbox, check gasket, align airflow arrows.
  • Do not blow with high-pressure air; replace when dirty.
