Hydraulic Clutch Master Cylinder for Mitsubishi

How it works ⚙️
Press the pedal and a pushrod drives a piston inside a precision bore. Seals build pressure in brake fluid, sending it through the line to the slave cylinder. The reservoir feeds fluid, while a return spring brings the pedal back for the next shift. Correct bore size and porting ensure crisp engagement.
What if it fails ❗
Worn seals cause a spongy pedal, low bite point, grinding gears, or hard engagement. Leaks at the firewall or under the dash drop fluid level. Air ingress makes the pedal sink to the floor. In severe cases you can’t select gears and risk being stranded.
Tech tips ️
Bleed with fresh DOT 3/4 fluid, inspect the hose, set pedal free play, and replace a worn clevis pin. Torque to spec and avoid fluid contamination for long service.
