    Rear Brake Caliper Support Bracket ️

    This rear brake caliper support bracket is a critical mounting piece that keeps the caliper perfectly aligned with the brake disc. It’s needed because the caliper must stay rigid under heavy braking force; without a strong support, pad wear becomes uneven and braking feels unstable.

    How It Works

    The bracket bolts to the rear knuckle and provides the fixed guide points for the caliper body. As you press the pedal, hydraulic pressure pushes the pads against the rotor, while the caliper slides and centers itself along the bracket guides. This controlled movement ensures smooth braking, correct pad contact, and consistent stopping power.

    Signs of Damage & What Happens If It Breaks ⚠️

    If the bracket is bent, cracked, or the guide areas are worn, the caliper can sit crooked. That may cause grinding noises, pulling to one side, hot brakes, vibration, or rapid pad and rotor damage. In severe cases the caliper can bind, leading to reduced braking efficiency and unsafe driving.
