How it works
The squareβcut piston seal sits in the caliper bore. Under pedal pressure it lets the piston move outward; when you release, its elastic memory pulls the piston back slightly to create pad clearance. The external dust boot snaps into the caliper and piston grooves to block water and grit. Guide pin boots retain grease so the caliper βfloatsβ freely, keeping both pads engaged evenly.

Expect wet calipers, fluid loss, a spongy or sinking pedal, pulling to one side, hot wheels, glazing, and rapid or tapered pad wear.
