Left Rear Suspension Spring Insulator Pad

This left-side rear coil spring isolator pad keeps your Mitsubishi quiet, stable, and protected. It sits between the rear coil spring and the seat, stopping metal-to-metal contact, spreading the load, and sealing out grit and moisture. The result is a smoother ride, correct ride height, and longer life for springs and mounts.

Why you need it βœ…

Without a proper insulator, the spring rubs on its seat, causing noise, harshness, and wear. This pad cushions impacts, reduces vibration, and helps maintain proper rear geometry and comfort.

How it works

Made from OE-grade elastomer, the pad compresses with the spring to absorb micro-shocks and distribute force evenly. A locating lip centers the coil, preventing rotation and scuffing. It also acts as a barrier against water and rust.

What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

Expect clunks or squeaks over bumps, a harsher ride, crooked stance or sag on one side, uneven rear tire wear, and accelerated spring/perch damage. In severe cases the coil can bite into the seat, risking costly repairs.

Tech tips ️

  • Replace in axle pairs; inspect upper/lower insulators and bump stops.
  • Seat the coil end correctly; torque fasteners at normal ride height.
  • After installation, check rear alignment and tire wear pattern.
