Right‑Hand Side Air Dam Mounting Bracket
Why this part is needed
The side air dam (side skirt) relies on a rigid RH mount to stay aligned with the bumper and rocker. This bracket locks the panel in place, channels airflow along the body, reduces drag and wind noise, and shields the lower sill from road spray and debris. If the original piece is bent, rusty, or missing after a curb or trail hit, a fresh bracket restores clean fitment and factory aerodynamics.
How it works
The bracket bolts to OEM threaded points in the right rocker area and provides fixed anchors for the air dam clips/screws. Its shaped profile sets the panel height and angle, keeping even gaps to the fender and step cover. Coated steel resists corrosion, and the mounting pads help damp vibration. Installation is a direct swap using standard fasteners—align, seat clips, and tighten evenly .
What happens if it’s broken
Expect panel sag, gaps, and flutter at speed; rattles on bumps; increased drag and fuel use; paint scuffing on the sill; water/dirt spray onto doors; lost clips; and in severe cases, the air dam can detach ⚠️. Off‑road, a loose edge may snag a tire or terrain.
Pro tips
Test‑fit before tightening, clean rust from mating points, replace worn clips, and check clearance with the right front wheel lock‑to‑lock. RH only—pair with the LH bracket if both sides show damage. ✅
