Clutch Master Cylinder Assembly βš™οΈ for smooth, precise pedal feel

Why this part is needed

This hydraulic unit turns your foot pressure into fluid pressure, cleanly disengaging the clutch. It keeps gear changes light, protects the transmission from grinding, and maintains a steady bite point. A healthy cylinder means confident starts in traffic and crisp shifts at speed.

How it works ️

A small reservoir feeds DOT3/DOT4 fluid into a machined bore. When you press the pedal, a piston with rubber seals builds pressure and sends it through the line to the slave cylinder. The slave pushes the release fork and bearing, separating the clutch. A return spring brings the piston back, ready for the next press. Proper sealing prevents air ingress and fluid loss.

What happens if it fails

  • Soft or sinking pedal; needs pumping to shift
  • Hard gear engagement, grinding, or stalling at stops
  • Fluid leaks at firewall, low reservoir level
  • Spongy feel from air entry; uneven bite point
  • Premature clutch and synchro wear if driven like this

Replace at the first signs. Bleed the system after install and refresh fluid regularly to extend service life.
