Front Stabilizer Bar Bushing β€” OEM MR491192

Keep your Mitsubishi steering sharp and quiet with this front sway bar bushing βš™οΈ. Designed to cradle the anti-roll bar, it ensures tight control and smooth cornering. Precision-made for OE geometry, it restores factory ride quality and reduces cabin noise .

Why this part is needed

The stabilizer bar links both sides of the suspension to cut body roll. This bushing is the wear point that lets the bar move while staying centered. A fresh bushing maintains alignment of the bar, improving stability, braking confidence, and tire life βœ….

How it works

Mounted on the subframe, the bushing grips the bar with a low-friction inner surface and compressible rubber shell. It isolates vibration yet resists lateral movement, so the bar can twist when you turn, keeping the car flat through bends .

What happens if it’s worn or broken

Expect clunks over bumps, steering wander, uneven tire wear, extra body roll, and poor lane-change response. You may see rubber cracks or a shiny, loose bar seat. Left unchecked, it can stress links and mounts, raising repair costs ❗

Tech notes

OE-grade rubber, bolt-on fit. Light grease on the bar bore only; do not over-torque brackets. Always replace in pairs for balanced handling.
