Why this part is needed
Stable cornering and quiet ride depend on a healthy rear suspension stabilizer system. This rear stabilizer (sway) bar bushing supports the anti-roll bar, keeping it centered and secure. It cuts body roll in turns, reduces noise and vibration, and protects the brackets and bar from wear. If you want factory handling and safe road manners, this little part is essential.
How it works
The bushing is a molded elastomer sleeve that wraps the bar. When the clamp is torqued, it preloads the bushing so the bar can twist for roll control, but cannot shift forward, backward, or upward. The inner bore grips the bar while allowing controlled micro-movement, isolating road harshness and sealing out dirt and water for longer life.
What happens if it’s broken
Worn or cracked bushings cause rear clunks and squeaks, a loose tail feel, extra body roll, and instability on quick lane changes.
