Brake Hose Support Bracket for Mitsubishi ??️
This small metal holder is a big safety part in your braking system. It is needed to keep the flexible brake hose fixed in the correct position, so the hose does not swing, rub, or kink while the suspension moves. When installed tight, it guides the hose route and protects it from sharp edges, tire contact, and vibration damage.
How it works ⚙️
The bracket anchors the hose at a set point on the body/strut area. It locks the hose end fitting in place and maintains the right bend radius. This prevents twisting when steering and keeps the hose aligned during bumps, braking, and cornering.
What happens if it’s broken ❗
If the bracket cracks, bends, or goes missing, the hose can chafe against metal or the wheel, causing outer wear, bulges, or leaks.
