Front Brake Caliper Piston (OEM-Style Replacement)
This brake component is a key part inside the front caliper. It is needed to push the brake pads against the rotor when you press the pedal, giving strong and stable stopping power. If you want safe daily driving, clean braking, and even pad wear, this small part matters a lot ✅
How It Works ?
When hydraulic pressure comes from the master cylinder, the piston moves outward in the caliper bore. That movement clamps the pads onto the disc. The piston surface must stay smooth so the seal can hold pressure and the piston can retract slightly after braking.
What Happens If It’s Worn or Damaged ⚠️
A rusty or pitted piston can stick, causing dragging brakes, overheating, vibration, or the car pulling to one side. It may also tear the seal and create fluid leaks, leading to a soft pedal and longer stopping distance. Replace it to restore proper caliper action, protect the rotor, and keep braking balanced.
