Right‑Hand Engine Roll Stopper Mount Bracket (OE ref: MR333578)

This heavy‑duty bracket secures the torque (roll) mount on the right side of the powertrain. Its job is to control engine rotation during acceleration and braking, keeping the drivetrain aligned and calm. With a stable anchor point, your Mitsubishi enjoys smoother shifts, reduced vibration, and longer life for axles, exhaust flex, and hoses.

Why you need it βœ…

Engine torque tries to twist the assembly. The bracket locks the torque rod to the body/subframe, preventing excessive movement. It protects surrounding parts, improves throttle response, and cuts cabin shake for a refined drive.

How it works βš™οΈ

Precision‑formed steel with corrosion protection, this bracket bolts to factory points and pairs with the torque mount bushing. Together they resist fore‑aft roll, keeping the engine and transmission in their designed geometry.

If it’s damaged or missing ⚠️

  • Clunk on take‑off or gear change
  • Excessive engine rock, harsh vibration
  • Premature wear of mounts, CV joints, exhaust
  • Poor shift feel, wheel hop, potential safety risk

Tech notes ️

  • Always torque bolts to spec on level ground
  • Inspect the torque rod bushing; replace if cracked
  • Recheck fasteners after a short road test

Compatibility

  • Colt/Lancer
  • Lancer
  • Lancer/Mirage
