Radiator Cooling Fan Motor for Mitsubishi Vehicles οΈ
This compact electric drive keeps steady airflow through the radiator and A/C condenser. Built for OEM fit and balanced rotation, it restores quiet, efficient cooling and protects the engine in traffic, hot climates, and with the A/C on.
Why this part is needed
Engines generate heat that coolant alone cannot shed at low speeds. The fan motor pulls air through the core when you idle, crawl, or tow. Without it, temperatures rise fast, A/C performance drops, and underβhood components age prematurely.
How it works
ECU or thermo-switch signals a relay or controller to power the motor at one or more speeds. The motor turns the fan blade to draw air through the radiator and condenser, stabilizing coolant and refrigerant pressures. Sealed bearings and heatβresistant windings ensure smooth, long service.
If the motor fails β οΈ
Watch for overheating at idle, the temp gauge climbing, weak A/C when stopped, blown fuses, or grinding/humming noises. A seized or weak motor can boil coolant, warp the head gasket, and stress the transmission cooler. Replace promptly to avoid costly repairs.
Tech tip βοΈ
Verify fuses/relays, spin the fan by hand (engine off), and confirm voltage at the connector. Ensure blade clearance in the shroud after install.
