Front Stabilizer Bar Hanger Bracket – OE‑Grade Mount

Why this part is needed ️

This bracket firmly mounts the front stabilizer (sway) bar to the chassis. It keeps the bar centered, supports the D‑bushings, and controls body roll for safer cornering and confident braking. Replace it when the original is bent, rusty, or the bushing seat is ovalled. A fresh mount restores steering feel, reduces noise, and protects other suspension parts.

How it works

The hanger clamps the anti‑roll bar with a rubber bushing and bolts to the subframe. When the vehicle leans, torsion in the bar transfers through the bracket to balance left and right wheels. A rigid, correctly shaped saddle prevents bar walk, keeps geometry true, and maintains quiet, precise movement in the front suspension.

What happens if it’s damaged ⚠️

Cracked steel, elongated bolt holes, or crushed bushing seats cause clunks on bumps, extra body sway, vague steering, and uneven tire wear. In severe cases the bar can shift, overloading links and struts, and stability may drop on rough roads or during hard braking.

Install notes

Clean the subframe pads, seat the D‑bushing correctly, and torque bolts to spec. Do not grease bonded rubber; use silicone‑safe lube only if the bushing type allows. Inspect sway bar links and bushings together for best results.
